Now that's HONESTY !!!!!

HONESTY, VERY RARE NOWDAYS ...... BUT OH SO GOOD !!!!!!!

A friend told me a true story of someone he knew who had lost his purse. This person had no idea where the purse was lost so there was a very very slim chance (especially in South Africa), that he would get his purse back or even the contents of his purse.

Amazingly enough the next day he received a phonecall from a black male asking if he had lost his purse. The black person asked him specific questions about the purse, it's contents, ID information, etc. When the black guy was satisfied that it was in fact the rightful owner of the purse, he arranged to meet him at a shopping centre nearby.

When the chap got his purse back from the black male, EVERYTHING was still in the purse, even to the last bit of loose change he had. When he lost it, he had more than R700 in cash in his purse, and it was untouched, as were all his cards. That in itself was amazing.

The person wanted to know how he could repay the black guy for his honesty but the black male declined and said that he simply felt good in returning the purse to it's rightful owner. The chap insisted and he took the black male out for lunch, which they both enjoyed.

Now can you imagine if ALL people, regardless of race or colour, were honest like this person. Man the world be such a MUCH BETTER PLACE !!!!!
